Some Images

These examples of Digital Photography were produced over the last 6 years using Adobe Photoshop and various input methods. Most are all Montages of actual photographs. I enjoyed making them very much. They have been an exploration I thought was not possible until I found the computer. I admit that I was inexperienced in all media before I touched the computer but the more I have learned about other media I still feel like the computer as a visual medium is still the medium in which I work best. However, I do miss being behind the shutter and watching the magic of paper developing in the darkroom.

You could try to put these images into a category like: digital photography, or digital montage or even collage but in my opinion until the intent is to deceive I don't think that it matters. These images were made to please your eye and stimulate your mind as well as mine. If the ethics of photography in the digital age is what inspires you and sparks something within you then that is good, but I never intended for it to be an issue. Many people anymore call this kind of work "visual artistry". I like to call this digital photography because it owes everything to photogaphy despite its radical departure.
